CKC 203: Nairobi Lake Naivasha (Lake Nakuru) Masai Mara Zanzibar

 

  Day 1

Arrival into Nairobi. You are met a representative of CKC Tours and Travel and transferred to the Fairview Country Hotel. This is cool Hotel in the cool suburbs of Upperhill not far from down town Nairobi. Overnight at the hotel.

  Day 2

Breakfast the Fairview. Later, one of our members of staff will link up with you for a briefing before the morning pick up for the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
 

The sights are breath taking before you descend on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch at Lion Hill Lodge and continue to the Park for game viewing.

You will spot flamingos, pelicans, buffalos, white rhino, the Rothschild Giraffe and other plains game. Later continue to the Great Rift Valley Lodge for overnight.

 The Lodge incorporates a golf course and is on the shores of Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake and it is therefore a sight to behold.

  Day 3

You have a morning drive to the Masai Mara; arriving for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge; game viewing en route. The Lodge is seated on a naturally raised platform commanding wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. It is a five star property and with highly courteous staff. In its décor it has greatly incorporated the Masai traditional architecture and themes. The Masai are the surrounding community and have remained proudly aloof from western civilization.
 

The Masai Mara National Reserve is the most famous animal sanctuary in Kenya. It has the widest concentration of animals and it is possible to view most if not all the big five here. Birdlife is also prolific with the secretary bird, ostriches, kori bastard, herons among others widely represented here. Enjoy the late afternoon game viewing drive in the Reserve. Overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge.

  Day 4 and 5

You have two full days at the Masai Mara. Here you may undertake optional Balloon rides, visit a Masai tribal village as an option. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game viewing drives. Overnights at Mara Serena Lodge.

  Day 6

Early breakfast before embarking on the morning drive through Nairobi City with your packed lunches and on to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the midday scheduled flight to the spice and clove Island of Zanzibar. On arrival at Kisauni Airport; you are met by our representative and transferred to the Zanzibar Serena Inn. This is a five star Resort on the Zanzibar Stone Town not very far from the Airport. From here you may undertake some of the excursions this mystic Island has to offer including a visit to a Coastal forest, old slave market, cloves farms or the crowded streets with a lot of Arabian influence. Overnight at the Serena Inn.

  Day 7

Breakfast. Later, you are picked up for the transfer to the 5 star Bluebay Beach Resort. It seats on the spectacular Kiwengwa Beach. It has a beach frontage. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Bluebay Beach Resort.

  Day 8 to 11

You have four full days at this tranquil haven enjoying the sun, sand and sea. You may undertake optional extra activities here including deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling among others. Overnights at the Bluebay Beach Resort.

  Day 12

Breakfast. Morning at leisure.  In good time you are picked up by our representative for the transfer to Kisauni Airport, for the scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport and connect onto your homebound flight.
