Each year between the month of July and September, the Mara is host to the spectacular Wildebeest Migration, one of the natural wonders of the world. Over a million gnus move across the open plains in an endless stream stretching endlessly in to the horizon noisily bleating and creating thundering dust storms. The movement of this vast herd is fascinating with the predators that follow the herd. Lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs follow the herd for food.
